Assessments

Assessment will take place for all lessons in different ways as decided by your teacher. At the beginning of your course you will be told the percentage split of marks and what is important. For example, if homework is marked as part of your grade, you will be told how many and which ones. It is your responsibility to complete all work that is set for you by the deadline given by your teacher.

There will be continuous assessment and final examinations in June (please check academic calendar). Your teachers will advise you of the weightings for each of these assessments.

Some subjects do not have a final exam or a mid term. In this case you will be given written assignments to complete and a final paper will be written by you.

Your teacher will advise you of the appropriate dates for handing in coursework. It is your responsibility to make sure you have completed your work in time.
